We just recieved news that AIR BAND will be screening at this year's Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films.
Below is the email from the festival director:
Dear Darrell Hazelrig,
I would very much like to invite AIR BAND to the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films, August 24-30.
One of the largest short film festival and market in North America, Palm Springs screens approximately 300 films from over 40 countries annually. Over the past 10 years, more than 50 of the short films nominated for Academy Awards played first at the festival. Plus it's an extraordinary event. We'd love to show this wonderful short in this year's festival.
I'm attaching our official invitation/confirmation letter. If you accept our invitation, please get this back to us as soon as possible. Also, if you could send a 300 dpi jpeg image or two from the film by return e-mail, I'd appreciate it.
Yours,
Anita Monga
Several people, including myself, will be attending the festival. More details to come.

Blue
Sun Productions has acquired it's own Panasonic DVX-100A camera. This
is the upgraded model of the same type of camera that has been used during
the production of AIR BAND. The new camera will be used to wrap
up production of AIR BAND, which should help eleviate the scheduling
problems of the past. The camera will be used heavily in future productions
as well as be made available as a rental package. Rental information for
Blue Sun's DVX-100A will come soon.
